How SmartRolePath Editorial makes and reviews the articles, guides and tools on this site, where its figures come from, and how to report a mistake.

Articles, guides and other written content on SmartRolePath are credited to "SmartRolePath Editorial". That is an organization byline. It does not refer to a separate staff of outside journalists, analysts or credentialed subject-matter researchers, and no individual writer, editor or reviewer is implied.
Drafting, research synthesis and editing are AI-assisted, directed and reviewed by SmartRolePath. The SmartRolePath Editorial byline describes that same in-house, AI-assisted process.
SmartRolePath is an AI career change platform. Claude, Anthropic's AI model, applies a scoring framework SmartRolePath built in-house to a person's skills, experience and goals to generate ranked career paths, a personalized roadmap, and related tools.
Analyses are AI generated estimates guided by an in house scoring framework; official BLS and O*NET data is labeled separately and applies to US analyses only. How the analysis works explains what is AI generated, what is official data and where the limits are, including how this applies to a personalized career report.
When a claim needs a source, we look first to government and statistical agencies, such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET. Next come peer reviewed research, then reputable publications. Industry surveys and vendor reports are used for context and are attributed to their publisher.
SmartRolePath is not affiliated with or endorsed by BLS or O*NET.
Factual claims involving labor-market statistics are checked against identifiable sources, primarily the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and O*NET. Where a specific number cannot be traced to a real, checkable source, our policy is to remove it or rephrase the claim qualitatively rather than leave an unsupported figure in place.
The date shown on a page is the date its main content last changed, not the date it was built or republished.
If you spot an outdated, unsupported or incorrect claim anywhere on the site, email info@smartrolepath.com and we will review it and correct it. We do not treat published content as final: if a claim turns out to be wrong or a source does not hold up, it gets fixed. You can also use the contact page.
Corrections are listed here with the date they were made.
